The edition49 music award for choral music has now concluded.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With nearly 300 submitted works from 19 countries, the competition attracted an exceptionally strong international response. The jury faced the challenging task of evaluating a large number of high-quality compositions, and many decisions were therefore extremely close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We warmly congratulate all prize winners on their success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high quality of the submitted works greatly impressed the jury and made the decisions far from easy. Many scores were very close, and numerous compositions that ultimately did not receive a prize were nevertheless judged very positively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our thanks go to all composers whose contributions helped make this competition a success, as well as to the members of the jury, who undertook this demanding task with great commitment, musical expertise, and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
