Antonio Vivaldi, Gustav Mahler, Giuseppe Verdi, Arnold Sch\u00f6nberg, Frank Zappa, REM etc. wrote music for mandolin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

edition 49 music publishing company and the district town of Siegburg are holding a composition competition for mandolin. The aim of the competition is to pave the way for the international public to become aware of the instrument mandolin \u2013 \u201cInstrument of the Year\u201d 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prize money\/closing date:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prize money of up to \u20ac8,000.00 is available. In addition, the Humperdinckfreunde Siegburg e.V. association will award a special prize of \u20ac250.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The entry submission period ended 23:59 CET on November 1, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
